I'm not sure why, but I reserve a small spot in my top seiyuu list for Shiraishi Minoru. Ever since his role in Lucky Star where he ended up being at the receiving end of just about every bad joke in the book, I've been looking forward to watching him become that great seiyuu he wanted to be -- and look, he's playing the part of a near important main character.

"My Ordinary Life 2"
Nichijou -- the show that does all the things you want to do in real life, but never would normally do because everyone would hate you for it. While Im not going to comment on Mais (Togashi Misuzu) brilliant tactic to win at a rock-paper-scissors game, I was laughing pretty hard during most of the episode.

"My Ordinary Life 1"
Finally! A show done by KyoAni! Plus, I was delighted to watch my expectations from the OVA completely get obliterated (in a good way) as I sat on the edge of my seat wanting more.

"Everyday"
Slice of life is basically split into two parts, comedy-based and ..not comedy-based. I'm not a huge fan of "not comedy-based" types. People argue that there aren't "points" to slice of life. I disagree. A good slice of life always has a point somewhere. Nichijou however, is a comedy-based slice of life, so this discussion is moot.
