You want to know why Nichijou is such an amazing show? It's not because the jokes are funny or the characters are memorable. It's the fact that even though it's labeled as a comedy/slice of life, it manages to pull off serious, emotional, and near tear jerking moments in the span of seconds. But because you're watching a comedy, these moments hit you so hard and so fast that you don't even have the chance to scratch your itchy eyes.

There's just absolutely no reason that anyone could possibly think that Nano might even remotely be a robot. Besides the fact that she has a screw sticking out of her back, popcorn gun in one hand, chikuwa in the other, and a bird coming out of her head, it's ridiculous that anyone might even consider the thought that she might be a robot.

I never thought that Hyadain's Kataomoi could be topped but I never considered that Hyadain might be able to top HIMSELF.

It seems that the best time for the worst things to happen only occur on those days that seem just a little too perfect. So on a really nice sunny day, it's not too surprising that Yuuko manages to somehow forget the precious worksheet that she actually finished.

I'll admit that I have slowly been warming up to Mai. While I'm a big fan of being a good friend, I was dying when she was being a total jerk without being a jerk. In a match of wits, I don't think anyone would be able to stand up to Mai and it was pure genius what she did to Yuuko this week.

The pure randomness of this show never fails to brighten my day. Boy do I wish High School was this awesome over here in the states. Announcing marriage plans, thrusting teachers into the air, and even getting free bags of rice -- WHO WOULDN'T WANT A FREE BAG OF RICE?

Was it me or was most of that first skit just so out there that it flew over your head? The flying airship was cool and I have a friend named Albert who hates it when his name is said in Japanese (Aruberuto / ), which had me giggling inside every time the Kings name was called out. But even though the first skit felt like it came out from left field and didnt really get me laughing at first, I was dying towards the end.
