Wow- that was a first for Kuroshitsuji in a long time- an episode that starts without a long ass recap.

"His Butler, Much Unknown"

Kuroshitsuji knows how to pull it’s punches.

"His Butler, Mopping Up"

If I needed to summarize this episode in once sentence, it would be as follows: A long-ass recap followed by characters running around and blowing things up in the forest.

「その執事、遭逢」 (Sono Shitsuji, Sōhō)
"His Butler, Crossing Paths"

This could be considered Finny’s arc as much as Sullivan’s, Ciel’s, or anybody else’s.

「その執事、狂暴」 (Sono Shitsuji, Kyōbō)
"His Butler, Furious"

Ciel is what I would call a "cruel beauty".

「その執事、勧奨」 (Sono Shitsuji, Kanshō)
"His Butler, Encouraging"

In a way, I think this could be a pessimist’s metaphor for growing up.

It does make one ponder just what that says about the crevices of the human heart, human lusts, that a devil would be considered the lesser of evils.

With Kuroshitsuji, there is no limit to how dark it goes, and it always lurks there, side by side with the lighter moments.
