The changing of the fall leaves and disappearing of pumpkin spice always heralds a start of the snow and sleigh bells on high. Not to be forgotten though? Anime, and lots of it. This winter isn't breaking with new years tradition, coming in hot (cold?) with over 50 new shows in some shape or form to look on in anticipation. Leading the pack comes the overwhelmingly awaited second season of elven fantasy Sousou no Frieren, followed up quickly by shounen sensation Jujutsu Kaisen's third kick at the anime can and dramatic entertainment extravaganza Oshi no Ko round three. Not to be forgotten either is the proper airing of Type Moon's Fate/strange Fake, finale season for Golden Kamuy, and the firefighting chaos of Enen no Shouboutai. Need a little more surprise in your Christmas stocking? Say hello to hard hitting drama Ikoku Nikki, the popcorn-first fantasy action Yuusha-kei ni Shosu, and the exceptionally cutesy romcom antics of Seihantai na Kimi to Boku. And if that wasn't enough under the tree lies some fun with sci-fi thriller Darwin Jihen, the possessive fantasy suspense of Eris no Seihai, and the knuckledusting superhero carnage that is Boku no Hero Academia Illegals. The days may be short and the weather exceptionally cold, but anime is always around to keep us warm and content. This is Random Curiosity's Winter 2026 Preview!

Every summer comes with the acknowledgement of hot afternoons and sunshine galore eventually giving way to fall's shorter days and changing leaves. And also anime. Lots of anime. This fall is no exception to the rule, with over 50 shows of one variety or another fleshing out the autumn ranks, from the hotly anticipated returns of action extraordinaire One-Punch Man and chaotic family adventure in Spy x Family to shounen masterpiece Boku no Hero Academia's final season and Fumetsu no Anata e's third round. Needing some potential upstarts in place of pumpkin spice? Try out Sunrise's kick at the isekai can in Sutetsuyo, the introspective teenage angst clinical Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka, or Gintama's side-story spunk with 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei. Even sports and romance fans aren't left hanging courtesy of the urban dancing Wandance, charming school romcom Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi, and the diabetic office sugar of Bukiyou na Senpai. And hey, if that's nowhere near enough, make sure to see the horror shenanigans of GNOSIA, quirky off-the-wall holiday chaos of Sanda, and the very ravenous psychological suspense of Watashi wo Tabetai, Hitodenashi. Fall might mean winter is nary a season away, but anime is here to keep the oncoming snow at bay. This is Random Curiosity's Fall 2025 Preview!

With the birds and the bees giving way to long hot days and gentle beats of the ice cream truck, it's safe to say summer is here at last. And not just any summer - a jam packed summer. A summer for the ages. A summer that when it comes to anime is set to make waves in the way few summers - let alone seasons - have before. Almost 70 shows in some capacity are set to air, with everything from hotly anticipated sequels to hyped up originals and new adaptations. You want it? Guaranteed you got it, and oh boy are there options aplenty for anyone still unsure. If you're in the mood for more of the same look forward to the likes of big monster blockbuster Kaijuu 8-gou, supernatural sensation Dandadan, the cosplay extraordinare Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru, and the eagerly awaited Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt continuation make their grand return to the anime screen. Still needing more sequel goodness? Rest assured as science shounen DR STONE, revenge tured adventure isekai Tate no Yuusha, scuba comedy Grand Blue, and fan favourite romcom trainwreck Kanojo Okarishimasu have something new on tap for all. Wanting brand new and exciting instead? Check out the likes of dystopian sci-fi Gachiakuta, KyoAni's next helping of anime goodness with CITY, slick isekai Onmyou Kaiten, or the number loving food focus of Fermat no Ryouri. And don't think for a second that's it either as everything from assassin comedy Sakamoto Days to the well-loved mobage Arknights, the narcoleptic vampire shenanigans of Yofukashi no Uta, the and comedic supernatural remake of Jigoku Sensei Nube also have their slots all booked. It truly is a summer set to leave a mark, and you best be sure we'll be here for it all. This is Random Curiosity's Summer 2025 Preview!

With the changing of the leaves out and snow and chill in you'd think we'd be gearing up for a lazy season - but anime has other intentions. New year intentions. As 2024 gives way to 2025 we've got a strong suite of shows to look forward to, whether it be the hotly awaited Solo Leveling sequel, the return of everyone's favourite Chinese apothecary in Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, the next Type Moon entry Fate/strange Fake, or the brand new upstarts in low-key hit-man adventure Sakamoto Days and sport-flavoured romcom Ao no Hako. Still rocking the isekai bug? Never fear because MAPPA original, animation meta Zenshuu, tokusatsu chique Sentai Red, the secretary themed Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, the reverse isekai Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san, and the next big reincarnated villainess story in Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan have all your bases covered. Prefer truer fantasy? Take a look at the gritty and provocative revenge tale Übel Blatt and Dr. Stone's last great hurrah to whet the palate. And hey, if the hot chocolate hasn't run out and the fireplace is still going leave some room for the cutesy romance Honey Lemon Soda, figure skating aspirant Medalist, and the blast from the past harem work 100 Girlfriends to keep the comfy feeling going. Winters always suck for one reason or another, but anime is always around to keep the spirits high. This is Random Curiosity's Winter 2025 Preview!
