IS Infinite Stratos – 07

(Buruu Deizu / Reddo Suicchi)
"Blue Days / Red Switch"

While the previous episode was about Charle's coming out for the most part, this most recent one has Laura front and center to really mix things up. Her grudge with just about everyone is a welcomed development to help de-emphasize the harem aspect, which seems to have run away with the series lately. As enjoyable as that's been, she's definitely balancing things out for the better.

FRACTALE – 05

(Tabiji)
"Journey"

This may have been a character-oriented episode, focused on Nessa and her hide and seek pranks on board, but it was made much better with Phryne around. She's still a marvel to me, given how blunt she was when she asked Clain if he loves her, and this time around she comes off as be a bit of a tomboy who doesn't seem aware of how attractive she is.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica – 07

? (Hontou no Kimochi to Mukiaemasu ka?)
"Can you Face your True Feelings?"

Something about the thought of having my soul extracted from my body just doesnt sit well with me. Seeing how Im a normal human being, I would feel a little violated if someone decided to rip my soul out my body. Isn't your soul the basis of your very existence -- the single thing that makes you who you are?

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? – 06

(Sou, Watashi wa Shi wo Yobumono)
"Yes, I am the Harbinger of Death"

Did I say something about Kyoko being overpowered last week? Its more like everyone plus Kyoko is overpowered! But in a show where things arent overly serious most of the time, its pretty fun to watch both the good guys and bad guys have equally over powered moments. With Kyoko busting out a combination of moves ranging from a Megalos to a Masou Shoujo's, I was excited to watch just how Yuu was going to deal with her.

Bakuman. – 19

(Futari to Hitori)
"Together and Alone"

Im so overcome with emotion right now. I never expected that a single episode of Bakuman could turn out so amazing. You expect me to believe something that was able to wring out my emotions and throw me through loops is a mere shounen anime?

Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector – 19

(Ryuukoou Kengen)
"RyuKoOh's Manifestation"

For an episode where the title made it clear that Bullet and Kusuha were due for an upgrade, Excellen more or less stole their thunder with her sudden and mysterious arrival in the Einst-modified Rein Weiss Ritter. She had the Hiryuu Custom completely at her mercy, and probably would have destroyed it too had Kyousuke not been on board.

STAR DRIVER: Kagayaki no Takuto – 19

(Sannin no Nichiyoubi)
"The Three's Sunday"

After seeing Takuto and Sugata out of character in the preview and suspecting that something was up, it wasn't all that surprising to learn that Kou and Madoka were the culprits behind it. It was a bit predictable in that sense, but that didn't take away from what followed suit with some really tough maidens who aren't so easily fooled.
