(Kousaku Suru Hikari to Kage)
"The Interplay of Light and Shadow"
This second episode was a lot better paced with Ryou and Megumi battling it out over ramen. Ramen is like my absolute favorite!

 | | |
(Kyouki no Sotogawa)
"The Outside of Madness"
That was a hard episode to swallow. Winter is here and it comes with a lot of despair and tragedy for Subaru.

 | | |
(Mahiru to Kuro)
"Mahiru and Kuro"
Being average at best, SERVAMP is an adaptation riding the same bandwagon of supernatural beings and vampires.

 | | |
(Zetsubou to Iu Yamai)
"The Sickness Called Despair"
It wouldn't be Re: Zero without someone dying in some crazy shock and awe scene.

(Sono Hako ni Tsumeru Mono)
"What Fills the Box"
And it's back! The show that makes us all wish we could cook better and crave everything on screen. Yum!

(Jishou Kishi Natsuki Subaru)
"Self-Proclaimed Knight Natsuki Subaru"
I’ve defended Subaru quite a bit over the past few months when viewers would bash him for being annoying or self-centered… but this episode takes the icing on the cake.

(Sono Ichi: Kanojo ni Mukanai Shokugyou / Sono Ni: Uchouten Tanteisha / Taemanaku Kako e Oshimodosare nagara)
"First, an Unsuitable Profession for Her / Second, an Ecstatic Detective Agency" / "Borne Back Ceaselessly into the Past"
Apologies for the delay on Bungou Stray Dogs! I know this post is incredibly late but there's still a second cour coming this fall! And I really hope it takes advantage of the fact that it spent the last two episodes of this season introducing new gangs and characters.

(Sairai no Outo)
"Return to the Capital"
Finally…a new arc! With some old and familiar faces but also a ton of new ones to follow. This is really going to open up the world which Subaru has found himself in and the endless possibilities that will arise.

(Remu)
"Rem"
Even as the season’s coming to an end, Re: Zero keeps pushing out great episodes one after another. Now, we’re headed straight into the next story arc with high expectations.

(Rashomon to Tora)
"Rashomon and the Tiger"
Finally – another action-packed episode with not one but two fights! This is what I’ve been waiting for since the earlier months of this season. Is it a little too late to recapture everyone’s attention? I hope not.
