Natsume Yuujin-chou San – 08

「子狐のとけい」 (Kogitsune no Tokei)
"The Little Fox's Watch"

Given that I’ve been counting the days until another episode of Natsume Yuujinchou with Kogitsune for the better part of three years, it was always going to be hard for it to live up to expectations. Amazingly, it did – this episode was everything I love about this series.

Sacred Seven – 08

「マゴコロを込めて」 (Magokoro wo Komete)
"With Sincerity"

Ask and I shall receive, as Onigawara sets Alma up on a date with Ruri so that he can finally get a clue. It's just too bad that it revolved around a misunderstanding over Alma's overuse of the phrase "for now", since it made him come off as an insensitive jerk for most of the episode.

THE IDOLM@STER – 07

「大好きなもの, 大切なもの」 (Daisuki na Mono, Taisetsu na Mono)
"The Things I Love, The Ones I Cherish"

I never quite know what to expect from IM@S, as the series continues to throw the girls' names in a hat and pick a few out at a time. Or at least, that's what appears to be happening from my perspective, with Hibiki and Iori sharing some screen time with Yayoi after already getting a bunch in episodes four and six respectively.

Ao no Exorcist – 19

「なんでもない日」 (Nandemonai Hi)
"A Day When Nothing Happens"

Whatever you thought of the entertainment value of this episode of AoEx, there’s no denying that it was slight. Given that and the fact that it was anime-original, I’m sure there won’t be a lot of excitement in the ranks of the manga readers this week.

Hanasaku Iroha – 21

「蘇る、死ね」 (Yomigaeru, Shine)
"Rebirth of the word Die"

After somewhat redeeming her character back during the movie arc, I was sorely disappointed with all the backtracking Takako's done this week. After years of fooling around at Kissuiso trying to implement ridiculous ideas at the expense of the people who work there, I don't know how she'd expect Okami to just let the past go.
