Fate/Zero – 03

「冬木の地」 (Fuyuki no Chi)
"The Land of Fuyuki"

Well, I hope I didn't ruin the enjoyment of too many viewers out there about something that was revealed in just nine minutes of this third episode. Personally, I really didn't think it was that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

THE IDOLM@STER – 15

「みんな揃って、生放送ですよ生放送!」 (Minna Sorotte, Nama Housou Desu yo Nama Housou!)
"Everyone Gather, It's a Live Broadcast, a Live Broadcast!"

There's no holding 765 Pro down, as they're popular enough to have their own live program now. If you're looking for a "show" that's purely about cute girls doing cute things, IM@S "Are We Live? Sunday" is definitely it.

UN-GO – 01

「舞踏会の殺人」 (Butōkai no Satsujin)
"Murder at the Ball!"

Given the staff involved I have no doubt that this will be a competently produced and directed series. The key question is whether the story and characters will come alive in future episodes, and make the series engaging as well as competent.

Mashiro-iro Symphony – 02

「きょぜつ色のクッキング」 (Kyozetsu-iro no Kukkingu)
"Rejection-Colored Cooking"

Two episodes later, I'm not so much impressed by Manglobe's adaptation of Mashiro-iro Symphony as I am intrigued by how it has all the makings of just another high school romantic comedy, yet always seems to stop a step short of actually becoming one. It's very odd I must say, because as soon as it looks like things are going to fall into an overused trope, the characters prevent that from happening.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon – 02

「食事場の清純者」 (Shokujiba no Senjunmono)
"Innocents at the Table"

With such a huge cast of characters, it's starting to become a little difficult to keep track of who is who. However, it does feel quite rewarding after spending a some time trying to piece together who's who and how they fit into this grand story of war, politics, and personal battles.

Chihayafuru – 02

「からくれなゐに」 (Karakurenai ni)
"I Won't Give Up"

If there were any doubts that this show was for real, Chihayafuru dispelled them with a second episode as nearly perfect the first. This is a series that has the potential for greatness written all over it.
