Nichijou – 17

「日常17」 (Nichijou 17)
"My Ordinary Life 17"

Even when he's voicing something as simple as a crow, Ono Daisuke's charm never fails to spill out of his character. By charm, I'm referring to this condescending feeling you get when someone tries way too hard to be polite and ends up getting on your nerves.

Ao no Exorcist – 15

「やさしい事」 (Yasashii Koto)
"Act of Kindness"

Last week wasn't just another school adventure of the week, as it turns out - it was actually setting up the chain of events that would seismically shift the ground underneath Ao no Exorcist for good. And can anyone be surprised that it was Mephistopheles that was behind it?

Ouran High School Host Club (Drama) – 01

「Episode 1」

The live-action Ouran Hight School Host Club drama is here and boy is it a doozie. I thought an eccentric Suou Tamaki voiced by Miyano Mamoru was a bit much, but Yamamoto Yuusuke takes it to another level. Don't even get me started about the twins, Hitachiin Kaoru and Hikaru, played by real-life twin actors Takagi Manpei and Shinpei respectively, who take their forbidden love act to uncomfortable extremes. That's the number one thing that I wasn't looking forward to at all. 3D can be pretty dangerous.

Sacred Seven – 04

「学園祭のオニ」 (Gakuensai no Oni)
"Demon of the School Festival"

We had a school-life episode like the preview last time suggested, along with some minor Ashi involvement to stir up the school festival preparations. The best part of it all was Alma calling Ruri to the rooftop, leaving the latter with some hopeful expectations.
