Steins;Gate – 01

(Hajimari to Owari no Purorgu)
"Prologue of the Beginning and End"

So who didn't get this show? Yes, yes, I see a lot of.. nothing because I'm looking at a monitor, but I can guess most people with no previous knowledge of the story have really no concrete idea of what happened. Don't worry, I'm in the same boat.

Sengoku Otome ~Momoiro Paradox~ – 01

(Tensou Otome)
"Transfer Maiden"

I was secretly hoping there wouldn't be anything in this gender reversal Sengoku period anime to grab my immediate attention so that I could avoid adding another new title to the thirty or so I'm planning to follow already, but my interest in this war-filled era of Japanese history and the female seiyuu involved got the best of me. Oh woe is me.

TIGER & BUNNY – 01

All's well that ends well. (Owari Yokereba Subete Yoshi)

All the letdowns I had from the promotional video for Sunrise's company superhero anime were quickly washed away after seeing it in action. With a story centering around Kaburagi T. Kotetsu (Hirata Hiroaki), a veteran hero who's deemed past his prime, the series doesn't seem to take itself too seriously and works well because of it.

Hanasaku Iroha – 01

(Jyu Roku Sai, Haru, Mada Tsubomi)
"Sixteen Years of Age, Spring, Still Buds"

Im not entirely sure what I just watched. I was pretty sure that I was going headfirst into a slice of life that should look beautiful. But after I really got into things, I can say that Im still not sure what I just watched. In the words of a Divine person I know, Ive just been P.A. Worked. If my lame joke didnt give it away, this is another one of P.A. Works works (what an odd sentence).

Bakuman. – 25 (END)

(Ari to Nashi)
"Yes and No"

That was amazing, simply freaking amazing. After what felt like the longest episode throughout its entire season run, Bakuman goes out with an amazing bang. For all of you manga readers out there, I cant believe how long it took for our duo to finally reach serialization!
