"My Ordinary Life 1"
Finally! A show done by KyoAni! Plus, I was delighted to watch my expectations from the OVA completely get obliterated (in a good way) as I sat on the edge of my seat wanting more.

"Birth of a Hero!"
I should have known better with the director and screenwriter of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha behind this original anime by Seven Arcs, but that doesn't change how I feel pretty cheated with the way they purposely misled me with premise for DOG DAYS.

The Return - (Shuuketsu)
Marvel and Madhouse Studio's third of four collaboration projects kicks off the start of the spring season and begins with a bang, showing when Jean Grey (Hino Yurika) was manipulated by Mastermind and went out of control as Dark Phoenix.

"Armed Group (Skill-Out)"
For a short two-episode arc that coincides with the conclusion of this second season, there was actually a fair bit of lead-in to what's around the corner, suggesting that this is the foundation for a third season sometime down the road. We'll probably be seeing more of GROUP after Touma and Accelerator cleaned up most of Skill-Out, after the latter cornered their leader Ritoku and caused him to commit suicide over being killed.

"Nightmare"
You know, it might have been a good idea if all this information about Mistletainn was given last episode, perhaps somehow during the battle, a little flashback here and there. Maybe then when Mistletainn retreats, it wouldn't look like she had ADD.

"Paradise"
There was definitely no shortage of surprise developments to make this episode befitting of a finale, but I admittedly found the impact of them all much less than it could have been. I attribute that primarily to quickly tying up all the loose ends and leaving little time for anything to sink in, such as the deaths of various characters.
