Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls – 05

(Ai no Senshi, Toujou)
"The Warrior of Love Arrives"

It looks like we're on a master samurai parade with the way Muneakira is locking lips left and right, but if the opening sequence is any indication of things to come, this should be the last one we see for at least the next while. Whatever the case, the introduction of Yukimura's childhood "friend" Naoe Kanetsugu (Toyosaki Aki) made this episode an absolute riot to watch.

Shinryaku! Ika Musume – 05

Go mini Ika Musume! Give that shark everything you got!

(Uchuujin Janai ka? / Gakkou ni Ikanai ka? / Kawanai ka?)
"Aren't You An Alien? / Won't You Go to School? / Won't You Raise Her?"

Just when I thought this show was way too cute (in a good way), they take the cuteness to a whole new level with a skit on "mini" Ika Musume. Similar to what Mitsudomoe did last season, the skit was completely all devoid of dialogue save for the noises coming from Ika; however, that's exactly what made it as awesome as it was.

Yosuga no Sora – 05

(Yami Akiraka ni)
"Clearing the Darkness"

Continuing on from episode two, the story takes a drastically different turn when Motoka doesn't show up and Haru gets to talk to Akira instead. As a result, Haru doesn't have to go around town questioning everyone about her past, since Akira is more than happy to tell him about how she's Kazuha's half-sister.

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo – 05

(Tamashii wo Tsunagu Mono ~ Sosei ~)
"Connecting Souls ~Rebirth~"

This weeks Yakumo was also pretty darn good. Even though Ive been complaining about the crazy pacing and the lame detective cases, the past two weeks have been a breath of fresh air. While its not as creepy as I hoped it would be, the story makes up for it entirely.

MM! – 05

(Tensai Shjo no Hs Panikku!)
"The Genius Girl's Wild Panic!"

This was definitely the craziest episode yet, which is certainly saying something. Going from power level radars to super sayain transformations, this episode was a complete throw back to Dragon Ball Z and an... interesting parody of it.

Tegami Bachi REVERSE – 05

It must be some sort of trend for aspiring Head Bees to end up as Marauders.

(Ribaasu Waarudo)
"Reverse World"

It's a Reverse World alright, not only in the sense of the anti-government organization revolting against underground spirit amber experiments on humans, but also in how nothing is what it seems. The strict social status requirements on stepping foot into Akatsuki already pose several questions on exactly what the government is doing there -- or what it can get away with -- but the appearance of an ex-Bee and dingo duo who are now inspectors from the capital does as well when they turn out to be Marauder spies.

Bakuman. – 05

(Natsu to Nemu)
"Summer and Name"

I admit it. I love Bakuman. Not only for the great story, or the detail they put into it when they talk about mangka things. I love it because of how they make it feel real. I dont know about you, but Ive attempted to do the fusion dance multiple times with my best friend. I shortly followed up with getting super mad at him when he didnt say the words right and messed up on his form. Who wants to end up being a fatty when they fuse together!?
