As expected, the OP shows off the wide range of beautiful animation that KyoAni can do, from the snowy landscapes to fields of flowers. It of course reminds me of the Kanon OP in many respects, but a bit faster paced, and the characters are clearly spelled out in this one. The eufonius song is pretty good too, though I haven’t listened to it enough to be able to tell a difference between it and the game’s original.

Like the title (A Large Family of Dango)implies, this ending sequence is filled with dango playing various family roles. I was a bit surprised to see an ending like this, but it’s rather cute, and the song is good in a very happy kind of way. After listening to this for a while, I think I actually like the ED a little more than the OP.
CLANNAD is only a week away now, and the Invitation DVD serves up some more promos along with the creditless OP and ED. Having not played the game, I’m still trying to keep myself in the dark about the plot so that everything is fresh for me when I watch the anime adaptation. I’ve got pretty high expectations for this, and if these promos have been any indication, Kyoto Animation and Key’s story won’t disappoint. The main downside is that these all had a 16:9 aspect ratio, but TBS is going to be airing this series in 4:3, and the widescreen version probably won’t be available until this airs on BS-i three weeks later. In any case, CLANNAD is due to start airing next Thursday night (October 4th) at 25:55 JST.
I’ll be looking forward to this…

Clannad the game was made for all ages, so a bloody ending is highly unlikely.
For anyone wondering ‘Clannad’ is the Irish word for family.

this show is like air,kanon,shuffle(it’s five girls and a guy) it’s nice and all but cmon the story is gonna be like just another romance anime. all the girls love the guy but only one can share him not like school days u bang all the girls,makes u wonder the ending,main character dies that’s wat you call an awesome show that you will remember for a long time.

Nah, MBS and CBC are both part of the TBS network airing the show in 4:3. BS-i is their premium subscription channel, and that’s why it’s the only one airing it in 16:9.

i think i shred a few tears watchign Airs. Kannon 2006 was a nice change of paste for me. i havent play the novel game for this one so i gonna dive into this serie blind. i hope i wont shred an tear of sadness like i did with Airs cuase i’m runnign out of maney for tissue.
What the heck, do those of you wondering about if CLANNAD of all things would be like School Days have ANY IDEA about the orginal story? Or even anything about KyoAni? This is KyoAni we’re talking about, there’s NOT going to be and be-headings here, it’s like your insulting the awesomeness that is Clannad.
By the way, Clannad the Visual Novel was first relased as an all-ages version.

For the most part everyone in Kanon got their true endings in a sense, I don’t see why Kyoani won’t be able to do the same here.
