Summer 2005 Blogging Revisited

Alright folks, the bulk of the series I've been keeping track of for this season have gone through two episodes now, with the exception of Ichigo Mashimaro, which airs tomorrow. Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge - I might watch this for a few more episodes, but it's definately not worth blogging. Verdict: Nixed. Kamichu! - When I get some time (hopefully soon), I'll catch up on Kamichu's subs. Since the subs are coming out by various groups, I'll stick with those. Verdict: Subbed. Suzuka - As I said in my post, Lunar is doing this series now, and I expect them to do it relatively quickly. I'll still watch the raws, but the series officially goes on subbed. Verdict: Subbed. Everything else I'll stick with raw. Oh yea, one more thing: 電車男 (Densha Otoko - Train Man), the TV series, started last week in Japan. If you haven't heard about it, this is a based-on-true-story tale of an otaku who asks for advice and gets a makeover through the 2chan message boards in order to go out with a beautiful girl. I'm quite interested in the story, so I'll be watching it, and maybe even blogging it. The movie version too, once I see it.

Short Summary: Yamato finds his old friend Hattori Yasunobu sitting in his room one day. The two are talking outside when Suzuka comes by and overhears Yamato calling her a clumsy fat old lady.

Short Summary: It's spring and Takemoto is feeling down, physically because of allergies and emotionally because of Hagu-chan. At a festival, he notices that Hagu-chan is intentionally hiding from Morita, who's there performing.

Tsubasa Chronicle – 14

Short Summary: The townspeople have had no success in finding the children. The doctor tells our group that Grosum-san is a suspect. Arriving at his house, they sneak in and find another copy of the history book that the doctor had. Unfortunately, Grosum-san walks in on Syaoran. However, he ends up giving Syaoran the history book so that Syaoran can gather all the facts.

Oku-sama wa Joshi Kousei – 02

Short Summary: It's festival time and Asami's class is doing a cafe. Of course that means the girls all dress up in maid-like outfits to greet and serve the customers. Asami is embarrased by it, but wears it anyway. When Kyousuke shows up, chaos breaks loose as he tries to prevent Sonoda-sensei from looking at Asami.

Short Summary: Aisia is taken care of by Kotori and Junichi. She falls asleep after a meal before they can really learn anything about her, except for her name. The next morning, Miharu wakes everyone up screaming that Junichi has turned into a female.

As both sides speed to war, we see Lunamaria getting prepped in the Core Splendor and Sting getting ready to board the Destroy Gundam. Djibril and his crew of old farts are holed up in Heaven's base preparing for the assault.
